As a designer with years of experience, I've worked for diverse group of employers and clients, from large corporations to individuals, full-time and freelance. My graphic design skills span a wide range of styles and applications. I know how to communicate in the language of programmers as well as printers and project managers, and can see a job through from initial contact with a client to delivery of the final product. My experience includes design for web sites and presentations, and for print including newsletters, catalogs, annual reports, advertising, brochures, and all manner of direct marketing.
Having also spent a number of years as a middle and high school educator, my hours in the classroom, administering academic projects, and working with students and families has provided me with an education that has been valuable to my own development. In adult education, I gave students my design and production expertise through hands-on experiences, and helped them discover their strengths and career paths through team-oriented projects.
Many of my freelance clients are non-profit organizations that do good work in the world. I believe in helping wherever and whenever I can. To all of my endeavors I bring a positive attitude, a stratospheric work ethic, and proficiency at multi-tasking and organization. Clear and effective communication and compassion in every aspect of life is my constant goal – that, and to work with a great team in a full-time position. Meanwhile, I am also interested in new freelance opportunities.
